ASB Off-road bikes

Hi Resident

Neighbourhood officers have been on Sandy Lane today due to recent reports of off-road bikes in the area.  No bikes have been seen today and officers will be in the areas again if information is received. 

These bikes are a nuisance and a danger to themselves and other road users/pedestrians, and if caught the bikes will be seized. If you have any information as to who is using them or were they are coming from then please reply to this message in the first instance. 

Offenders are often aware of the law and will ride with there faces covered, this along with officers being unable to pursue due to the danger to themselves and others is why we are appealing for any information from the community. 

Please continue to report ASB on 101 so that officers can either attend at the time or build a better picture of locations being frequented along with the timings.
